The Korean movie titled "The Glory" powerfully depicts the harm caused by bullying and its long-term impact, which closely aligns with the theme of this conference — From Darkness to Glory. The main character, Moon Dong-eun, experienced severe bullying during her school years and later sought revenge as an adult. Her journey reveals the profound psychological and life-altering consequences that bullying can have on an individual.

Bullying can take many forms, including physical, verbal, psychological, and cyberbullying. It can occur in various settings such as the home, school, and workplace. Bullying not only affects an individual's mental and physical health, but also negatively impacts social and cultural dynamics. Domestic bullying can harm the mental well-being of family members, strain relationships, and reduce overall quality of life. In schools, bullying disrupts harmony among students and damages the learning environment. In the workplace, it leads to low employee morale, high turnover, and reduced productivity. These adverse effects contribute to a more tense and disharmonious social atmosphere.

By participating in this conference, attendees will deepen their understanding of the importance of recognizing and addressing bullying. The discussions aim to raise public awareness about respecting others and building healthy relationships. Ultimately, this will help foster greater empathy, encouraging individuals to care for and support one another, and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive society.
